Rigenase®

Rigenase® is a specific wheat extract patented by Farmaceutici Damor and a fundamental component of Fitostimoline® medical devices. Recent scientific publications have described its marked moisturising and antioxidant activity. Rigenase® does not contain gluten.

FITOSTIMOLINE® SPRAY

Fitostimoline® spray is a medical device consisting of an acid pH hydrogel for dermatological use, contained in a pressurised aluminium bottle. Qualitative composition: Rigenase®, Carbomer, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Hydroxide, Purified Water.

INDICATIONS

Fitostimoline® spray, thanks to its particular formulation (containing Rigenase®), forms a protective barrier against the external environment, creating favourable conditions for a rapid and correct re-epithelisation of the skin, and helps maintain the microenvironment under control; therefore, the product is indicated for the treatment of ulcers, sores, wounds, first- and second-degree burns, scalds, abrasions, and rashes. The acidic pH helps reduce the risk of contamination by fungi and bacteria.
Rigenase® is a specific germinated wheat extract.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

<pclass=”p1″>Method of application:
Shake the container and dispense directly onto the previously cleansed lesion;
if you wish, cover with sterile gauze. The correct amount needed depends on the extent of the lesion to be treated. In subsequent dressings, unless specifically contraindicated, you may preventatively rinse the affected part with sterile water, if necessary. Apply 2-3 times a day unless otherwise instructed by your doctor.
Cutaneous use.

No undesirable effects have been reported. However, it is important to report any undesirable effects to your doctor or pharmacist.

Known or suspected hypersensitivity to the components.

APPROPRIATE PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

The use, especially if prolonged, of any topically applied product, can give rise to sensitisation phenomena. If this occurs, treatment should be discontinued and appropriate therapy instituted if necessary.

Fitostimoline® Plus Crema is a medical device consisting of a water-dispersible cream for dermatological use, contained in an aluminium tube. Qualitative composition: Rigenase®, Polyhexanide, Polyethylene glycol 400, Polyethylene glycol 1500, Polyethylene glycol 3000, Polyethylene glycol 4000, Liquid paraffin, Cetyl alcohol, Stearyl alcohol, Glycerine, Phenoxyethanol, Purified Water.

PROPERTIES

Cutaneous use. Rigenase® is a specific wheat extract. The presence of polyhexanide reduces the risk of bacterial contamination.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Method of application: on first use, pierce the tube using the perforator on the upper part of the closure cap. Spread as much cream as needed onto the affected part and cover with sterile gauze, possibly soaked with the same cream. In subsequent dressings, unless specifically contraindicated, you may preventatively rinse the affected part with water, as the cream is completely
water-dispersible and leaves no residue. The applications, according to the severity, extent and location of the lesion(s), can be reduced to simple absorption massages. After use, close the tube by screwing on the special closure cap. Treatment frequency: follow what your doctor recommends.

Fitostimoline® Idrogel is a medical device consisting of a gel for dermatological use, contained in an aluminium tube. Applied to necrotic tissue, it facilitates its removal by stimulating autolytic debridement, keeping the environment moist; it also absorbs exudates from wounds with a minimum to moderate level of exudation.
